Pure ashwagandha root grown in Oley, Pennsylvania using organic practices. Hand processed and sifted to a fine granulation. It can be stirred in to a beverage, hot or cold, added to a smoothie, or simmered as a broth.

Used for centuries as an anti-stress, adaptogenic herb, ashwaganda is considered calming, nourishing, and supportive of both healthy sleep and energy levels.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is an adaptogen native to India. This root comes from Furnace Creek Farm. Learn more in Grace's interview with Bon Appétit:  What Are Adaptogens, and Why Is Everyone Talking About Them?

Recipe:

If you would like to brew a tisane, use 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of the powder to 1 cup of water, add some chopped apple and a sprinkle of cayenne. Allow to simmer with the lid on for 10 minutes. At the end, add a fresh leafy herb such as lemon verbena and steep for 3 minutes. Strain and drink hot or cold.
